"As a U.S. Attorney, I arrested over 300 illegal immigrants on a single day, and as a former terrorism prosecutor I know the threats an unsecured border can bring to our national security. I’ve been fighting to lock down our borders and will continually oppose any form of amnesty for those who continue to break our laws." 

  • Voted YES on the House-passed No Sanctuary for Criminals Act (H.R. 3003), which would ensure that federal funds are not used to subsidize state or local governments that prevent enforcement of federal immigration laws. 
  • Voted YES on the House-passed  "Kate’s Law" (H.R. 3004), which would create stronger penalties for aliens who illegally reenter the United States, and impose harsher sentences on those who have been previously convicted of crimes. 
  • Voted YES on the Make America Secure Appropriations Act (H.R. 3219) which provides funds to construct a border wall with Mexico and prohibits contractors that fail to comply with federal E-Verify requirements from receiving federal funds.
